BMW stolen from Snowford Close

Monday 19th May 2025

Dear resident,

A car theft has been reported in your neighbourhood.

If you saw or heard anything or have any information about the below incident please call our non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference number provided.

Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Reference: 20/244530/25.
Location: Snowford Close, Shirley.
Date and time: Between 22:30pm on the 17/05/2025 and 06:00am on the 18/05/2025.
Details: A white BMW 118 was stolen from the driveway of the property. The individual(s) responsible didn’t take the keys to the car.

Officers from your local neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area in a bid to prevent further offences and try to catch offenders. PLEASE CONSIDER INSTALLING A STEERING WHEEL LOCK ON YOUR VEHICLE, AS THIS CAN DETER VEHICLE OFFENDERS.

A steering wheel lock is a great deterrent against this kind of crime. Car alarms, immobilisers and trackers are also worth investing in. Good quality CCTV equipment covering your driveway is also a deterrent and can give officers valuable footage to assist with apprehending thieves.

Thank you for your continued support

Kind regards
