A Wiltshire focus for NHW Week is how our Association can support NHW scheme co-ordinators. Numbering just over 600 across Wiltshire and Swindon, the role played by each scheme co-ordinator helps promote neighbourliness and its many potential benefits in support of ‘Making Wiltshire Safer’ including:

* Being vigilant in relation to suspicious behaviour in the community

* Reporting suspicious behaviour and crime if being committed

* Supporting neighbourhood policing and local crime prevention campaigns

Our Association recognises the role undertaken by scheme co-ordinators will vary from scheme to scheme. It should not be considered as time-consuming nor in any way onerous.

We want to hear your ideas as to how our Association might better support you in your role.
