Dear resident, 

We are appealing for witnesses to a weapons incident in Thatcham Broadway, yesterday (26/5).

Between 8.58pm – 9.10pm, officers responded to reports of a man in possession of a knife. 

The offender is described as black, around 5ft 8ins, slim build. He was wearing a black zip-up hooded top and black denim shorts.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place he remains in custody.
