Our officers arrested a third person on Sunday morning in connection with a robbery at the BMX track off Benyon Grove, in Orton Malborne, on 12 May.

The 19-year-old man was arrested in Cowgate, Peterborough city centre, just after midnight, and has since been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and being in possession of a knife in a public place.

He appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday) where he was remanded in prison to appear in court again on 23 June.

Two other people – a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man – were arrested and charged with robbery and attempted robbery, on 13 May. They appeared in court on 14 May where the 18-year-old was remanded in prison and the 16-year-old was granted bail by the courts with strict conditions. Both are due to appear in court again on 11 June.
