Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after various items have been stolen from multiple vehicles in the Kilton area. The thefts have occurred in the early hours of this morning (31/05/25) between the 0000hrs-0300hrs.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information or CCTV footage relating to this series of thefts. We would also like to hear from anyone that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Always lock your vehicle when it is parked and unattended

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
