Officers from the Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team 3 executed a drugs warrant on Friday 10 May 2024 after receiving community-led intelligence about drug supply in the Bowling & Barkerend area. Three men were subsequently arrested for offences including Possession with intent to Supply Class A drugs after large amounts of Heroin, Crack Cocaine and Cocaine worth up to £72,510 were located.

The trio have now been sentenced to the below;

Syed Miah, aged 49 of Hill Side Terrace was sentenced to 3 years and 7 months.

Mohammed Khan, aged 46, of Hill Side Road was sentenced to 5 years and 7 months.

Zaffar Shafi, aged 57, of Sunny Bank Avenue was sentenced to 7 years.
