You said, we did!

In a recent survey of your local area one of the major concerns you raised was road traffic matters.

On 24th June 2025 beat officers spotted a driver on his mobile phone. Whilst speaking with the driver it became clear that as well as driving whilst on his phone the driver was also uninsured.

As a result of this the vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for driving whilst using his mobile phone and driving without insurance.

Using a mobile phone whilst driving is one of the fatal 4 offences which cause the majority of fatal accidents on our roads. We will continue to tackle these dangerous drivers and help make our roads safe for all.
