Police Street Meet - Dellfield

Good evening Resident, 

This Neighbourhood Policing Week, we want to highlight some of the positive work being conducted by your local Neighbourhood Team. I'm writing to you as one of the officers on your local Neighbourhood Policing Team to advise you that this evening, Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers carried out visible patrols of Dellfield and engaged with residents by doing a house-to-house. The purpose of this ‘Street Meet’ was to promote the Herts Connected platform as despite being a busy, residential street, very few residents had heard of this e-mail messaging platform. We also took this opportunity to hear any concerns or community issues from residents and were told of low-level anti-social behaviour, rowdy or nuisance behaviour, and some drug activity, particularly on the Alban Way. These kinds of face-to-face interactions with the public are so important for us to gain a real understanding of community issues.
