During a routine patrol of the Castlefield area. PC Riaz responded to ongoing concerns regarding tents erected in the park adjacent to Roman Fort, particularly in relation to suspected drug use and the presence of discarded needles. some of these tents have now been removed, contributing to improved safety and cleanliness in the vicinity. While on Patrol, PC Riaz also encountered a male on Quay Street behaving aggressively - shouting and swearing while clearly under the influence of alcohol. The individual was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and remains in custody.
