R2 and NPT are with you today. There's been 56 calls for service in the last 24h with 9 P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)
🏠 1 x Domestic Incident
🚔 4 arrests in the last 24h with two in for breakfast. Two in for two separate affray incidents, one drink driver, and one criminal damage.
👮🏿♀️ 39 Incidents came over to our system for a write up with 10 recorded as crimes so far.
🫶🏻 It's neighbourhood policing action week - so we'll be looking to publicise a little bit more what we do on a day to day basis. Our colleagues on response will spend their shift something like; 🐔 run round like a headless chicken trying to respond to new jobs, work on the jobs you already have, put case files together, arrange appointments and manipulate space and time so you can do it all.
⏰ The main difference for neighbourhoods is we don't respond to the "screen" as much (new incoming jobs). We have much more time and we spend it looking at wider problem solving, so if response are getting hit with 10+ calls a week about the same person we'll be working on sorting that out. With our time we can get out in the community more and deal with community issues and things like Cuckooing.
🚪 We also develop intelligence and get warrants, our NPT is multi skilled with all PC's being Taser trained, some MOE*, CBRN** and even protestor removal. Because of this we do often back up our colleagues on response. 🏃🏿♂️ We also get a bit of FOMO*** so you'll see us running out to some P0's.
