Timbercombe Lane and Beeches Road - Wild Fires

Local Police Community Support Officer Horsted and her colleague PCSO Collins were patrolling Timbercombe Lane in Charlton Kings after rising reports of fires with some resulting in the Fire Service needing to attend.

With the hot weather up and coming the dangers of wildfires will increase, all it takes is one ember with these reports taking place in overgrown and dried fields . These reports are describing young teenagers setting these fires, we are urging for parents to speak with their children regarding the dangers of an open fire.
