Local Priorities Mobile Phone Theft Concern Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Police Community Support Officers today, have been out and about conducting a mobile phone marking event at Hoxton Overground Station, providing phone marking kits to several residents of Haggerston and commuters passing through Haggerston. Officers also discussed anti-social behaviour issues or concerns that residents had in the area and provided some crime prevention advice in relation to mobile phone thefts.
