Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

We are aware of the ongoing issues in St Katharine's & Wapping ward regarding drug dealing and are grateful for those of you who are continuing to report sightings of drug dealing. As your local Safer Neighbourhood Team, we are working hard to identify these individuals and are using a range of tactics to prevent and stop further drug dealing and drug supply. We are also working closely with Tower Hamlets Council to deliver high visibility patrols around hot spots identified by the local community.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
