ESTATE WALKABOUT

This morning I completed an estate walkabout around Pennymoor. It was great to see so many people out & about and discuss local issues with residents.

I spoke with quite a few people today on my travels and the following issues were raised:

Nuisance motorbikes is an issue across the borough. We continue to tackle this as best we can and have been seizing bikes and issuing warnings & notices to offenders. Sadly, it remains an ongoing battle.

Drugs use/supply: any information gathered will be added n to our intelligence system for development and potential action. 

Dog fouling: This one baffles me, I'll be honest. Dog bags are cheap & easy to obtain and there are plenty of bins, even specific dog waste bins, around the area. This is an issue for environmental and will be passed. Bag it! Bin it!

Fly Tipping:  locations and pictures have been taken and will be passed on to the local council.
