Appeal for witnesses following assault – Bracknell

Dear resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bracknell.

At around 7.35pm yesterday (29/8), a woman was driving and saw a man standing in the middle of the road on Harvest Ride. 

The man shouted, slammed his hands on the bonnet and opened the driver’s door. He attempted to remove the victim’s seatbelt and then closed the door. He then opened it again and attempted to pull the victim by her jumper, in an attempt to get her out of the vehicle, before closing the door again and leaving the scene.

The victim, who is in her fifties, did not sustain injuries. 

Officers have released an image on our website of a man who may have vital information to assist our investigation.
