Officers from the Kirkby Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates. THE WILD RABBIT at PORTLAND PARK, LINDLEYS LANE, KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD, NOTTINGHAM. NG17 9AL on Friday 26th September at 10:00am.
Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Between 8.00pm on Thursday 18 and 6.20am on Friday 19 September in Hollinwell Heath, Kirkby in Ashfield, a property on the Gleeson Homes site was broken into wiring cut and electric cable and copper pipes stolen. Between 1.50am and 2.20am on Sunday 21 September in Low Moor Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a van window was smashed and the van moved to allow access to a door on a car sales lot. An attempt was made to force the main garage door before gaining access via a side door. Two off road motorbikes and a quantity of spares were stolen. Theft of motor vehicle At 4.16pm on Thursday 18 September in Byron Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a Yamaha Rayzr 125 motorbike was stolen from outside Steve Soult Ltd. CCTV shows three males drive up on two black Surron bikes and take the Yamaha. Two were wearing black tracksuits the third a grey tracksuit. The bike was found in the woods at the top of Beacon Drive minus it’s number plate. At 4.45pm on Monday 22 September in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a black Peugeot Speedfight moped was stolen from the Leisure Centre car park. Between 11.15pm on Tuesday 23 and 12.15am on Wednesday 24 September in Victoria Street, Selston, a white Ford Ranger was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Between 3.00pm on Saturday 20 and 10.00am on Sunday 21 September in Diamond Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a set of golf clubs, a golf trolley and some medication was stolen from an insecure blue Ford Mondeo in the car park of what was the Diamond Avenue Working Men’s Club. Theft Around 3.18am on Saturday 20 September in Portland Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a door bell camera was stolen and a neighbours damaged by two males. One wearing a white hat and white hoodie and a second male described as skinny.. Between 10.00pm on Sunday 21 and 7.00am on Monday 22 September in Warwick Close, Kirkby in Ashfield, a fence panel was lifted to gain access to a garden and a wheelbarrow and a barbecue gas bottle stolen. Criminal Damage Nothing to Report ASB At 8.57pm on Thursday 18 September in Willow Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of around eight male and female teenagers had been banging on house windows for the past 30 minutes to an hour. At 12.01pm on Saturday 20 September on land at the junction of Felley Lane South and Alfreton Road, Underwood, a report of three dark green quad bikes being ridden on Annesley Estate land by males wearing army camouflage clothing. At 7.58pm on Wednesday 24 September at Desmond Court, Westbourne Road, Underwood, a report of three, possibly white male teenagers, running around the grounds banging on windows.
