Road Safety Input at Padfield Primary School - Wednesday 8th October

PCSO Buller from GLossop YET (Youth Enagement Team) attended Padfield Community Primary School, Rhodes St, Padfield this afternoon, Wednesday 8th October.

The team had been invited to complete and assembly/input for all of their students (Infants & Juniors) ) on Road Safety ,in the school hall.

🗣️ We discussed

▪️ How Do You Get to School? - By Bike, Car, Walk, Push Scooter, Bus  

▪️ Crossing the Road Safely - Using ‘Stop Look Listen’ - ‘The Green Cross Code’  - Pay attention - Walk dont run .

▪️ Safe Places To Cross - Using Zebra/Pelican Crossings and the School Crossing Patrol - Use a straight clear/ section of road to cross safel.y

▪️ Be Seen Be Safe - Wear something bright

▪️ Bike & Scooter Safety  - Wear helmets - Reflectors and Lights and some Safety Tips

▪️ Be a Safe Passenger  - Always wear your seatbelt - Dont distarct the driver - Dont open the door when you have set off,
