I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Good Morning Heston East Residents and surrounding Areas we wish to let you know today we have been busy conducting Cycle and Foot Patrolsaround the Local Parks including Heston Park, Lampton Park, Oysterley Park and Thornebury Park due to concerns from Females and Young Girl and Woman who have felt that they need reassurance in these areas due to unknown Men approaching tem where they have felt scared or frightened. We know the importance of feeling safe in the Community and in your leisure Time so we will keep on patrolling ensuring your safety and security. If you see us in the parks please stop us to say hello or share any of your concerns with us so we can help.
