Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Darlaston neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening

Neighbourhood Police Update

. The Darlaston Team completed the parking patrols in the Darlaston area with the Civic Enforcement team,2 tickets were given out,1 blue badge was seized for fraudulent use and 12 - 15 vehicles were warned and moved on.

. The team recovered a stolen car in the Darlaston area.

Priorities

We are aware of youths throwing stones at moving vehicles in the Bentley area. We act on information and are working to identify the offenders, this issue remains a priority.

PACT Meeting

Partners and Communities Together Meetings are an opportunity for people who live or work in your area to meet representatives from the Police and Council to discuss local issues and work together to tackle crime and community safety concerns

There will be another Community-Drop-In scheduled for October, date, time and venue to be announced.

PCSOs will also be offering a Police Surgery at Darlaston Library. Speak with us about your concerns, ask us about crime prevention, ask us about Hollie Guard, time and date to be established, stay tuned to the WMNow messages for an update.
