👮 School Engagements 👮

Today, Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team have been involved with two School Engagements.

Firstly, it was to Shirebrook Model Village Primary School to deliver another Mini Police presentation and today the students were treated to a visit from an Officer from Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team with kit for the students to try on and a vehicle to have a look around and equipment that police use. The students were excited and engaged well and, as always, we at Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team look forward to continuing on with the Mini Police curriculum for the rest of the year.

After that, it was onto the Shirebrook Academy for their careers day where Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team collaborated with their colleagues from the Youth Engagement Team to educate the students on what they would need to do in order to go onto a career in policing.

School engagements are one of the many type of engagements we involve ourselves with and they help us to get to know the younger generation of Shirebrook and surrounding areas!
