Cycling at night advice and tips When riding at night you must have a white light to the front and red light to the rear. Make sure they are fully charged or have good battery power. if you do have a spare set worth taking them along with you. Wear bright, fluorescent, and reflective clothing and accessories like armbands or reflective helmet covers to increase your visibility to other road users. Plan your route on well-lit, familiar paths and ride in a central lane position to ensure you are seen. let someone know if you can before starting your journey. this can be by a text message. remember to wear appropriate winter clothing. Rain jacket or a Wind resistant jacket, full finger gloves and thicker socks.
Again remember your road positioning. make sure you can be seen
