Foot patrols- Eckington

PCSO Furmidge has been out on foot patrol tonight  including Stead Street Park, just as it was going dark. This was due to receiving a number of reports of anti social behaviour.  She spent time engaging with the local kids and also chatted to some of the parents whilst patrolling the park.  

Its all part of the Safer neighbourhood Teams ongoing effort to prevent, deter and detect crime- while also building positive relationships with young people in our community. A visible and approachable presence makes all the difference.  

It was lovely to see some past and present Mini police officers using the great facilities as well.
