Vehicle crime - Oakwood Road and Woodfield Avenue

Hi Resident

You are receiving this email to make you aware that an offender with a black ski mask and puffer jacket has accessed 1 vehicle on Oakwood Road, taking a wallet with some money inside. It is suspected that the same offender then tried a vehicle door on Woodfield Avenue a few minutes later. These incidents occurred on Monday 20th October 0155am and 0230am hours.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offender but, due to the face covering and the current CCTV footage that has been received, this has proven difficult. If you notice any footage that shows the offender without the face covering, please let us know. 

Please ensure your vehicles are locked & secured with nothing of value stored within. 

We ask that you remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity on 101.
