Worcester Warriors Foundation Rugby Initiative Launches in Stourport

West Mercia Police, in partnership with the Worcester Warriors Foundation and Stourport RFC, is proud to announce a new community initiative aimed at engaging young people through sport.

Starting on Monday 10th November 2025, the Worcester Warriors Foundation Rugby Initiative in Stourport will offer ten 1-hour tag-rugby sessions for girls and boys aged 13–15. These sessions will be delivered by professional coaching staff from the Worcester Warriors Foundation and held at Stourport RFC, Walshes Meadow, Harold Davies Dr, Stourport-on-Severn DY13 0AA, on the dates below from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

This initiative is designed to provide structured, positive activities for young people, particularly those at risk of involvement in anti-social behaviour. Funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, the programme will focus on communities within Stourport.

Participants must complete the registration form by 5pm Sunday 9th November 2025 and attend the first session, which will serve as an induction. 

The next 9 sessions are planned for the followed dates: 17/11/2025, 24/11/2025, 01/12/2025, 08/12/2025, 15/12/2025, 12/01/2026, 19/01/2026, 26/01/2026 and 02/02/2026.
