Operation Askov - Marble Arch

To address the increasing levels of violence, drugs and Anti-Social behaviour on Marble Arch, officers from Hyde Park and Marylebone wards conducted a joint Operation with 3 Area Territorial Support Group, Westminster Proactive Investigations and neighbouring Safer Neighbourhood colleagues. 

The operation was a great success with a total of eight males arrested during the Operation. The arrests included possession with intent to supply class A, B and C drugs, Conspiracy to supply class A drugs, x3 for Immigration offences, x1 handling stolen goods and another who was a Wanted offender for a violent offence.
A large amount of drugs were seized during the operation.

The Hyde Park and Marylebone Safer Neighbourhood Teams will continue to run Operation Askov owing to its ongoing success, with the goal of making it a safer place for both our residents and tourists.
