Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday – We Will Remember Them

This weekend, we come together to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who have served in our Armed Forces, past and present.

Remembrance Sunday – Sunday 9th November
Local commemorations will take place across the borough, including a parade and service at Islington Green War Memorial.
Everyone is welcome to attend and pay tribute to those who gave their lives in service to our country.

🕥 10:45am – Service of Remembrance at Islington Green, including:

The Mayor of Islington, councillors, local Armed Forces, and community representatives will be in attendance.

Armistice Day – Tuesday 11th November
At 11am, we observe a two-minute silence to mark the moment the guns fell silent in 1918. Please join us in reflection and remembrance.
