Another e-bike removed from the Streets |
Good Evening Everybody,
On the evening of Friday 7th November, while on foot patrol near Neville Park in Snodland, I alongside PC 30457 WARNER observed an E-Bike approaching from within the park. Despite the darkness, we could see and hear the bike being ridden by a young individual, accompanied by a passenger. As the pair exited the park, we introduced ourselves and carried out checks. It was quickly established that the E-Bike was uninsured, and as a result, it was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act. E-Bikes are increasingly being used in anti-social behaviour, and Kent Police are actively working to tackle this issue. Patrols will continue in hotspot areas to ensure public safety and deter illegal use of vehicles.
Thank you for your continued support.
