We want to make you aware of a distraction burglary that has taken place in your area, where a vulnerable  elderly lady was targeted.  Her bank card was taken and used in a number of stores to purchase goods.

We want to make everyone aware of a growing crime trend targeting elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes. Offenders are using distraction techniques to gain entry, steal bank cards, and then quickly use them for fraudulent transactions.

✅ Always check ID – Genuine workers will show official identification.
✅ Never share your PIN – No legitimate company or person will ask for it.
✅ Keep doors locked – Even when answering the door.
✅ Report suspicious activity – If in doubt, call the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
