Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Good evening all,

Welcome to this week’s Bordesley Green Newsletter. We hope you are enjoying the weekend despite the drop in temperature in recent days. Below is a quick rundown of some of the work we have been doing as well within the last week.

After receiving continuous reports of no tax vehicles, officers have seized 3 vehicles on Belchers Lane. Please make sure your vehicle is TAXED, got MOT and Insurance if you are using a public road. If not, you may be fined and/or have your vehicle seized.

We are continuing to work with our partner agencies to support the homeless community.

Officers have conducted a weapons sweep in Henry Barber Park. During this, we noted the significant fly tipping in the park and consequently, we have reported it to the council. You can also report fly tipping on the Birmingham City Council website or using the app Fix My Street.

Some of our Neighbourhood team have provided support at the German Christmas Markets.

Bordesley Green Officers arrested a male on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs and possession with intent to supply after 77 canisters of nitrous oxide were located in the vehicle. A great result.

PC Sutheran attended Bordesley Green Primary School and spoke to Year 1 about People Who Help Us. The children were able to have a look at one of our police vans and ask questions!

📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅

Next week we will be holding our Monthly Cuppa of a Copper. We would love to see you there. It usually lasts for approximately one hour and is a great way to ask questions to our local Neighbourhood officers.
