Operation Sceptre Engagement at Sevenoaks Station

Good morning, Resident,

On Thursday, 20 November 2025, officers from the Neighbourhood Beat Team and the Child-Centred Policing Team attended Sevenoaks Train Station as part of Operation Sceptre—a national UK policing initiative focused on tackling knife crime.

Our objective was to engage with passengers using the railway network and using a knife detection pole to support proactive screening and enforcement.
