Questions portal now open for upcoming Public Assurance Meeting on Supporting Victims and Safeguarding |
||
If you’ve experienced behaviour that makes you feel scared, distressed, or threatened, it may be a crime and can be reported to the police. Even something as simple as receiving repeated unwanted messages could count as harassment. Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts (PCC) wants to hear from residents about their experiences and concerns. Victims are at the heart of our criminal justice system, and the PCC is committed to improving support, holding offenders accountable, and helping people recover. The next Public Assurance Meeting (PAM) will focus on Supporting Victims and Safeguarding, a key priority in the Police and Crime Plan. Residents are invited to submit questions on this theme to shape the discussion. Questions will be answered by the Chief Constable or relevant specialists and published after the meeting. The question portal is now open and will close on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
