Ipswich – Serious collision |
||
|
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Ipswich last week.
Officers were called at 7.50pm on Friday 21 November to reports of a collision involving a white BMW 120 and a pedestrian in Woodbridge Road, near the junction with Belvedere Road (outside the Skoda garage).
The pedestrian – a woman aged in her 60s – was taken to Ipswich Hospital initially, before later being transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, having sustained multiple injuries which are described as potentially life-changing. She currently remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Police Headquarters in Martlesham, quoting reference: 37/66180/25.
