In response to your concerns, neighbourhood officers were out and about in Chatteris with exhaust noise monitoring equipment.

We targeted hotspot areas identified by you:

No one was found to be exceeding the limit of 90db this time. Those who are caught over the limit will be issued with a fixed penalty notice (FPN).

We will continue to do these patrols regularly in a bid to reduce the number of loud vehicles driving around the area.
