Please can members of the public if visiting Abbey Park be mindful that there has been recent robberies in the area. If you do see any unusual behaviour please can you let us know by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency. The latest incident was a mobile phone being taken from a youth on the park.

The beat team are aware of this and are trying to show a visibility on the park as much as possible during their shifts. Investigations are underway.
