Weekly Message From St Matthews Neighbourhood Team

Dear Members,

Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the St Matthews neighbourhood policing team that’s happened this week.

 What’s been happening

  • #Responsepolicing | This week we’re celebrating the incredible officers who make up our Response Teams. Response Officers are often the first on scene of any incident, from collisions on the roads, burglaries, etc. Keep an eye on our social media platforms to see what our Response Officers have been up too.
  • PCSO’s on Team 2 conducted a Crime Prevention Advice Surgery at Caldmore Road Mandir Baba Balak Nath, Walsall. It was a great event where we engaged with the community regarding how to prevent crime and answered any of your questions regarding this subject or any other concerns you may have.
  • Heading to the pub to cheer on England in EURO 2024? Make sure you’ve got a plan to get home safely before Kick off. Book a Taxi in advance, designate a sober driver, or stay at a friends place for the night.
  • PCSO’s and PC’s on all Teams have conducted high-visibility patrols in hotspot areas in Walsall Town Centre to deter any anti-social behaviour and to engage with our community.
  • A message from the team:

If you know of any community-based groups in the St Matthew’s area, who you are involved with, and you think that they would benefit from some involvement from their local neighbourhood policing team, get in touch with us.  See below.

Please feel free to share these messages to those not signed up to WMnow, and then ask them why they are not signed up to WMnow. Anyone can sign up for free at: www.wmnow.co.uk  Please spread the word.

    Keeping in touch with us:

For those people who we have spoken with and have received intelligence from across the St Matthews patch. We are always happy to engage in conversation and listen to issues and concerns.
