Residents have come together with Derbyshire Constabulary to create a new community speed watch group in Newton Solney.
After receiving funding from the local Parish Council, the group - which is made up of residents from the village - attended their first roadside training session yesterday, (Monday 1 July).
The group will now be conducting speed checks in the village to keep local residents and road users safe. | ||||
