Children at Kirkgate Childcare, Sherburn in Elmet were treated to a visit from two local Police Officers.

Yesterday, PC Woods and PC Callaghan from the Selby Neighbourhood Policing Team visited the children to showcase how the police help people.

The children also got a full tour around the police van and even got to sit inside whilst PC Woods took them through all the features of the vehicle. They especially loved the blue lights and sirens!

PC Woods said, “It was a pleasure to meet all the nursery children and to give them an idea of how the Police keep their community safe!”
