Earlier today Commissioner Ben Adams and Deputy Commissioner Dave Evans visited the new police base at Penkridge Community Fire Station.

Officers from Staffordshire Police were given a dedicated space in the station earlier this year that's available to use at any time during their shift.

The base allows officers to complete desk-based work in a convenient location at the heart of the community.

Group Manager James Green from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue and Chief Inspector Tim Norbury met with the Commissioner to discuss how the partnership between both services has been working so far.
