Witness appeal following suspicious incident in Church Crookham


We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a suspicious incident in Church Crookham.

It was reported that between 4.30pm and 5pm on Friday 23 August, a woman in her 20s was approached by two unknown men in a white Ford Transit van on Gurkha Road.

The woman was grabbed by one of the men, who put his hand over her mouth. She was able to break free and was not injured. The men quickly drove off.

The driver of the vehicle has been described as being black, with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt and a hat.

Officers fully appreciate that this incident will be of concern to the local community but we would like to reassure you that we are carrying out a thorough investigation into what has taken place.

As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who may have information.
