Number Plate Theft

Dear Resident,

Just to keep your informed….

……a pair of number plates was stolen from a BMW parked on the road in St Paul's Gardens, Thrapston overnight Mon 26 / Tue 27.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
