Newbury Neighbourhood priorities survey update

Thank you to the residents who completed the Newbury Neighbourhood priorities survey. 86 residents completed the survey and have identified the top three priorities for the team as:

1. Anti-Social Behaviour – Newbury Town Centre and City Playground

2. Drug Dealing – Wendan Road, Fifth Road and Wash Common

3. Complaints about E-scooters / E-bikes

The team will be focusing on these priorities over the next three months. Your area | Thames Valley Police

Below is the team’s previous priorities and updates:

1. Anti-Social Behaviour in the Nightingales, Newbury.

The Newbury Neighbourhood Policing Team are continuing to patrol the area and engage with residents. They are also encouraging the community to continue to report crime or ASB incidents to the police.
The Neighbourhood team have attended a few 'Community Clear Up' days. This priority will be removed, however this area is still part of Newbury Neighbourhoods patrol plan.

2. Youths breaking into Newbury Manor Hotel.

Neighbourhood Teams worked together with West Berkshire Council and the owners of the building. There is now a 24 hour security onsite preventing youths accessing the building. This priority will be removed.
