Malvern Officers catch Shop lifter in Malvern


Aaron Haines was yesterday charged with theft from Iceland and B&M stores in Malvern after staff in Iceland discovered Haines leaving the store with a bag full of frozen goods.

PC Dave Olczak and PC Kevin Johns were taking part in a retail operation in the town centre when the call came in from Iceland staff. The officers located Haines hiding in bushes in Priory Park. Haines was also in posetion of items from another store which was later identified as stock from B&M bargains . They arrested Haines, who was taken to Worcester Custody and following an investigation, was charged with the two thefts and bailed to Worcester magistrates Court in December. PC Todd Gummery and PC Eve Paskin were also involved in the search and transportation of Haines to custody, whilst PC Shaquille Laken dealt with Haines whilst he was in custody.
