Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 18 September 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

At 11.55 on Sunday 15 September in Piggins Croft/Central Walk, Hucknall, a report of three males, around 12years old, dressed in black clothing trying to gain entry to the rear of The Range and B & M stores.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 11.00am on Saturday 14 and &.05am on Monday 16 September in Beech Avenue, Hucknall, a white Ford Transit Flatbed van was stolen.

Theft from motor vehicle

At 1.24am on Wednesday 11 September in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, a middle aged white male with a shaved head, dressed in black, broke into a blue Ford Cougar parked at the roadside. Nothing was stolen.

Theft

Between 4.30pm and 5.15pm on Monday 16 September in Elm Avenue, Hucknall, a burgundy coloured four wheeled walker was stolen from outside a front door. It was found and recovered from the Nabbs Lane playing field.

Between 8.45pm and noon on Monday 16 September in Watnall Road, Hucknall, a Trek Marlin 6 pushbike, white frame with blue and red markings, was stolen from the locked car park of Sports Gateway College. The gate lock was also stolen.

Criminal Damage

At some time before 5.11pm Monday 16 September in Central Walk, Hucknall, the handle on the back door of a shop was removed and the door left ajar. The owner is not sure if the shop was entered but nothing was missing.

Between 2.00pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday 17 September in Palmer Avenue, Hucknall, a dent was made in the bonnet of a Dacia car.

At 9.52pm on Thursday 12 September in Edward Close, Hucknall, a report of a group of youths in an alleyway at the side of a house throwing heavy objects, possibly bricks, which hit the wall of the living room wall of the house.

At 4.59pm on Saturday 14 September in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, around 20 youngsters were being a nuisance around the drive through area of the McDonald’s

Restaurant and being abusive to the staff.

At 10.48am on Sunday 15 September in Harrier Park/Dorey Way, Hucknall, a report of four motorbikes racing along a footpath causing the reporter to jump into the hedge to avoid being hit. One wearing a yellow helmet and riding a yellow bike, a second on a bike with white and yellow mudguard, a third on a scrambler type bike.

At 5.42pm on Sunday 15 September in Polperro Way, Hucknall, youngsters in an alleyway at the side of a bungalow were banging on the walls and fencing to the property.

At 6.09pm on Sunday 15 September in Harrier Park/Dorey Way, Hucknall, a report of at least 12 off road bikes racing around the old airfield and two cars, one red the second white, doing ‘do-nuts’ on the runway and grassed areas

At 4.16pm on Tuesday 17 September in Edgewood Drive, Hucknall a report of four or five youths on the flat roof of the Edgewood Primary and Nursery School. No damage occurred.
