New Beat Officer

Dear Resident,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you all as your new local police officer.  My name is Jez and I have been a police officer for the past 12 years with the most recent 5 years working within the Community Safety Unit either as the Town Beat Officer for Faversham or Sheerness and then as a beat officer for Hartlip, Upchurch, Newington, Lower Halstow, Iwade, Bobbing and Kemsley for the last 15 months under this new policing model.  I have a lot of experience within community policing and I am very excited to be taking over from PC Gary Morris in the East Downs and Watling Wards of Faversham.  I look forward to working within these Wards and hope to integrate myself relatively quickly.  If you know of any community events in these areas you feel would benefit from my presence, please feel free to get in touch and I will make some enquiries.

Whilst I am not always on duty, I am here for you all.  I will host police surgeries and you will see me out and about I am sure, but please feel free to keep in touch by messaging through My Community Voice and remember this is not a crime reporting platform and if you are reporting an emergency or a crime in progress, you must always dial 999.

Kind regards,

Jez
