Pensioner Advice Event

On Friday 4th October, PCSO SNEAP attended a Pensioner Advice Event, which was held at the Council House. She was also joined by her colleague, Cyber Protection Officer, Sam Hancock.

The event was the first of its kind and was also attended by several other agencies including The Fire Service, Help the Aged, DWP, as well as representatives from the befriending service, utilities support and many more.

The event was very popular and PCSO SNEAP was very pleased to be able to speak to so many people, about a range of issues. She was also able to sign people up to Derbyshire Alert and provide. Sam spoke to lots of people about how to keep safe online and was able to provide fantastic advice and information.

We are hoping that more events like this will be arranged in the near future.

Please keep an eye out on our social media platforms for information about other events that we will be taking part in.
