Myself and my colleague PC Eyre-Jackson have been out on the A257 today at both Ash (60mph limit) and Wingham (50mph limit) conducting speed checks and speed enforcement. 

We stopped multiple cars and issued several Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) for excess speed and also a no insurance offence. The fastest recorded speed was 76mph in a 50mph speed limit. 

We also seized an untaxed vehicle in Ash, which was shown as being untaxed since July 2024. 

We will continue to be proactive across the district and report drivers when necessary.
