Please be aware of a scam that is is currently in circulation. This is in the form of a text message whereby the recipient is advised that they have received a parking fine. If they do not pay it they will have their car taken off the road. A link is then provided to make an early payment of £20. The link takes you to a website that appear like a legitimate .GOV site. Please be advised IT IS NOT. 

There is a detailed process in place if you are receive a legitimate parking fine. This will never be via text message. 

Please remain vigilant.
