Staffordshire Police have had a number of reports of both theft of motor vehicles and also attempt theft of motor vehicles.

Please take extra care to try to deter criminals from targeting your vehicle.

Protect it from theft

*Keep your keys hidden and use a signal blocking pouch to prevent keyless theft

*Lock it (and check it, don't just assume that the car is locked by pressing the fob)

*Choose a secure well lit parking spot

*Increase security by using steering and pedal locks

These precautions are just a few ways to help to reduce the chance of you becoming a victim of crime.
