We have been in the Model Village this evening alongside Bolsover District Council's Enforcement Team.

As the local Safer Neighbourhood Team, we provide a visible presence in the neighbourhood and we are also proud to work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on preventing and reducing crime, protecting the vulnerable and providing reassurance across Derbyshire.

These are the reasons why we try to make ourselves available in all of our areas, (that's not just Shirebrook but also Langwith, Scarcliffe, New Houghton, Glapwell and Pleasley).
