GENERAL ADVICE
The nights are getting darker again and it’s a time of year when we typically see a rise in burglaries.
Criminals often take advantage of the cover of darkness and empty homes, so it’s important to stay one step ahead and make sure your property is protected.
Lock your windows and doors, even if you’re only stepping out for a short time.
Close your curtains or blinds when you leave the house to keep valuables out of sight.
Use light timers to give the impression someone is home, especially if you’re out during the evening.
Keep car keys away from doors and windows, particularly if you have a keyless entry vehicle.
Criminals can use signal-boosting devices to steal cars parked outside. A Faraday pouch is a simple way to block these signals and reduce the risk.
